Delray Beach Housing Market Statistics

Delray Beach is a city in Palm Beach County Florida, with a population of 66,500 people. The median age of residents is 46 years old and has a male to female ratio of 49%. The median household income is $53,233.

The median sales price for homes is lower this month, down 2.77% to $263,000.

The median list price has increased by .25% to $360,000 compared to last month, and the median estimated home value is $252,000, which is an increase of 0.76% over the last month.

The median estimated home value in Delray Beach is lower than the Palm Beach County median of $307,000 and lower than the State of Florida median of $256,000.

In the Delray Beach real estate market there are 436 distressed properties, 36 pre-foreclosures, and 80 foreclosures for the month of July.

During the last six months, there have been 838 homes sold for $150,000 or less, 276 homes sold between the price range of $150-200,000, and 200 homes sold in the $200-250,000 price range.

There were 426 homes sold in the price range of $250-450,000 and 401 homes have sold for $450,000 and higher.

The average size of homes sold in the Delray Beach real estate market are in the 1,000 to 1,200 square foot range, 375 homes sold that were between 2,000 and 2,500 square feet. The majority of homes sold have two bedrooms.

In Delray Beach, the average age of homes sold is between 30-40 years of age.

Boca Raton Housing Market Statistics

Boca Raton is a community in Palm Beach County Florida, with a population of 14,900 people. The median age of residents is 46 years old, and the population is 50% male and 50% female.

The Boca Raton real estate market saw the median sale price of homes increase 8.27% from the previous month to $445,000, and increase 7.1% compared to the last quarter.

The median list price for homes has also increased, up 3.01% during the last month to $479,000. Estimated home values in Boca Raton has fallen 0.2% over the last 12 months to $434,000.

In Boca Raton, the median estimated home value is higher than the Palm Beach County median of $307,000 and higher than the State of Florida median estimated home value of $256,000.

The median list price for homes is also higher than the Palm Beach County median of $330,000 and higher than the State of Florida median list price of $280,000.

There are 61 distressed properties, 56 pre-foreclosures, and 5 foreclosures in the Boca Raton real estate market as of July 2019.

Over the last six months the Boca Raton real estate market had 34 homes sold for $250,000 or less, 16 homes sold in the $250-300,000 price range, 25 homes in the $300-350,000 price range, a total of 83 homes sold in the $350-550,000 price range, and 23 homes sold for over $550,000.

A total of 37 homes that sold in the Boca Raton real estate market were 2800 to 3,000 square feet in size, 26 homes sold were 1,600 square feet or less. Of the homes sold in Boca Raton, 36 were two bedroom homes, 53 three-bedroom homes, and 53 were four-bedrooms or more. The average age of homes sold in Boca Raton were 30 years old.
